Two Words. 1 menu. Eternal Happines.
Well, after sometime away from my blogspot, I decided to start the blog post for the year 2020 with a recipe from my best friend and dear friend, Erna.
You see, I first knew of Erna through my best friend from my first workplace, AMD whom we called Nabila or Bill. I may write a post about Bill later (if I still have the time like this during PKP) So Erna is one of Bill's many best friend and of course her name came out many times during our conversation. We were then added by Bill to be in the same whatsapp group which solely discussing about Duck Scarves (at that time). So I got to know her a little by then. But not that we talked everyday so she was still an acquaintance at that time.
Fast forward to few years later, I got transferred to Kerteh Office and little did I know, Erna is residing in Dungun, very near to the campus that I decided to pursue my master studies. Long story short, we finally met when Bill decided to came to Kerteh and Dungun to visit Erna and I.
Since that meeting chance, we somehow connected through some things that only Erna and I understand (at that time). Even Bill became curious as to why we talked everyday after that.
(Well I just whatsapp Erna to ask her permission to share her recipe here and Bill, as usual being an annoying person laughed at me because she said 'Kau ingt kau Rizalman71? kau ain87 jeee.')
I might not be able to share the recipe here if Erna decided to keep this family tradition recipe between us. Okay lets picked up where we left off.
So whenever I have class in Dungun, we will always meet for coffee or just 'lepak' at her kedai and house because I will have a 2-hour breaktime every Friday when the guys went to Friday prayers. And I tried her Ayam Berlado for the first when she made it for lunch during one of the Fridays and I am hooked. I am sucker for ayam and cili.
Since that, I always requested for the same menu everytime I am at her house for lunch. And boy did she deliver. Hahaha thanks Erna. I love you so much!
Anyway, few days ago I am feeling like having a plate of rice with Ayam Berlado Erna's version.
Anddddd guest what, I made it today with her guide and voila! The best Ayam Berlado everrrr!
I decided not to share the recipe here, just gonna keep it in my phone :)
